About Me: Aamna is an Assistant Professor in Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management at the Department of Management Studies and Industrial Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (ISM). She holds a Ph.D. from IIT Patna. Her research primarily focuses on understanding the drivers of informal social networking within organizations, with particular emphasis on the relationship among employees’ self-concept, intrinsic characteristics, and their informal communication motives and valences. She finds value in teaching Organizational Development and Change, and the foundation concepts of Mental Health and Well-being. Prior to joining IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, she served at Goa Institute of Management where she taught Human Resource Management to MBA and Executive MBA cohorts.
