About Me: Dr. Abhishek Kumar Pandey is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (ISM) Dhanbad. He earned his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from IIT Gandhinagar and holds a B.Tech. from NIT Patna. His research spans hydraulics, river engineering, sediment transport, and computational fluid dynamics (CFD). At IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, Dr. Pandey teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses related to Fluid Mechanics, Water Resources Engineering, Open Channel Flow, and CFD. He is passionate about bridging the gap between theory and practice, and guiding students in developing strong fundamentals in civil and environmental hydraulics.
