About Me: I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics at the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines) Dhanbad, where I joined in July 2026. I received my Ph.D. in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi in 2023. My doctoral research focused on the synthesis of nanostructured materials, the development of flexible nanocomposite films for thermoelectric devices, and hybrid energy harvesters. Prior to joining IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, I held a NASA-funded Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of California, Irvine, in collaboration with NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in Pasadena, USA. During my postdoctoral research, I focused on developing holey silicon-based thermopiles for high-sensitivity broadband thermal detectors intended for planetary exploration.
Research Interest: Nanostructures, Nanocomposites, Thermoelectric Materials, Thermoelectric Devices, Thermopiles, Broadband Thermal Detectors, Hybrid Energy Harvesting.
