About Me: Dr. Prusty is serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Geology at the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad. He completed his Ph.D. in Hydrogeology from the Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar in 2021. His primary research focuses on hydrogeochemistry, coastal hydrogeology, and environmental chemistry. He has also worked on urban hydrochemistry during his master's dissertation work at the Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar. He has presented his research at various international conferences, which have been published in prestigious international journals like the Journal of HYdrology, Science of the Total Environment, International Journal of Environmental Science and Technology, etc. Dr. Prusty has more than 4 years of post-PhD teaching experience in reputed institutions like Central University of Karnataka and Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. He has guided 10 undergraduate students in their dissertation research. His current research focuses on hydrogeochemistry, sediment-water interaction, and hydrochemical modeling.
