About Me: I am currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines) (IIT-ISM) Dhanbad. I worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering, The University of Arizona, USA, from July 2019 to June 2021. I also worked as an IISc Research Associate from December 2018 to June 2019. I have completed my Ph.D. from the Department of Civil Engineering, Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, my Master of Technology (M. Tech.) in Structural Engineering from the Department of Civil Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi, and Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) from the Department of Civil Engineering, Jadavpur University, Kolkata. I passed the Higher Secondary Examination from Burdwan C.M.S. High School and the Secondary Examination from Mathrun N.C. Institution. My research interests include advancement of the Peridynamics theory to predict material failure and exploration of the gauge theory of solids to unify various electro-magneto-mechanical phenomena.
