About Me: I am Preety Priya, currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad. I received my M.Tech. degree in Telecommunication Systems Engineering in 2014 and my Ph.D. degree in 2022, both from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. Before joining IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, I served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at the National Institute of Technology Calicut (March 2024 – May 2025). Prior to that, I was a Research Fellow in the Department of Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering at Monash University, Melbourne, Australia (2022 – 2024). My research contributions include publications in several Q1 journals and some U.S. patents. I was also the recipient of the Qualcomm Innovation Fellowship in 2017.
Research Interest: Physical layer design for next generation wireless communications---- Integrated Communications and Sensing, High Mobility Communications, Leo Satellite Communications, OTFS, OFDM, Beamforming, MIMO, Sparse Signal Processing, Synchronization and Channel Estimation, Nonlinear Data Detection (Particle Filter), Application of Machine learning on physical layer design.
