About Me: Dr. Rahul Bhartiya is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at IIT (ISM) Dhanbad. He holds a B.Tech. in Civil Engineering and an M.Tech. in Structural Engineering from IIT Bombay, and earned his Ph.D. from IIT Delhi. Before joining academia, Dr. Bhartiya spent nearly a decade in the structural engineering industry, where he was involved in the design of a wide range of building projects, including high-rise, commercial, and institutional structures across India and the Middle East. His diverse industry experience complements his academic expertise, enabling him to bridge the gap between theoretical research and practical application in structural engineering.

Research Interest: Concrete Confinement Models, Concrete-filled Steel Tubular Columns, Numerical Modelling, GFRP Reinforced Concrete, Seismic Strengthening.
