About Me: Prof. Shashank Bansal is an Associate Professor in the Department of Management Studies and Industrial Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (ISM) Dhanbad, India. He did his Doctorate from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras and his MBA from IIIT Allahabad. He has been a Gold Medalist from IIIT Allahabad and was awarded the prestigious “Australian Award - Endeavour Research Fellowship, 2016” by the Government of Australia & Erasmus Plus International Mobility Fellowship by the European Union. As the part of the fellowships, he worked as visiting research scholar at La Trobe University, Melbourne and Universidad de Granada, Spain. He is also activity involved in research projects and consultancy engagement from various organization such as DST, DSIR, Tata Power, SEBI, ICSSR, Ministry of Mines, ECL etc. and published various research articles in journals of repute.
Research Interest: Corporate Finance, Corporate Governance, Corporate Social Responsibility, Sustainability
The courses taught include Computational Finance, International Finance, Management of Banks and Financial Institutions, Corporate Finance, Engineering Economics and Finance, and Introduction to Financial Management. These courses have been taught to regular B.Tech, MBA, and EMBA students.
