About Me: Prof. Partha Pratim Roy (Fellow IETE, Fellow IE(I), Senior Member IEEE, iHUB Divyasampark Faculty Fellow) is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, IIT (ISM) Dhanbad. His research focuses on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Document Image Analysis, Medical Image Analysis, Human–Computer Interaction, Quantum Machine Learning, Digital Twin, and Multimodal AI systems. Prior to joining IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, he served for eleven years at IIT Roorkee and held research positions in Spain, France, Canada, Japan, and South Korea. He has led several national and international sponsored research and consultancy projects funded by agencies and organizations including DRDO, DST-SERB, MeitY, SPARC, NIC, HP, TEXMiN, NQM, La Rochelle University (France), Southern Cross University (Australia), and others. He has published extensively in international journals and conferences and serves in editorial and professional leadership roles in reputed venues. His current research direction emphasizes deployable AI systems for healthcare, mining, industrial automation, document intelligence, and trustworthy intelligent systems.
